FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Curious about my school photography? Please click through some of my most commonly asked questions.
What types of schools do you work with?
I currently work with preschools, daycares, and homeschool groups ranging in size from 25 to 250 students. I have experience engaging with children of all ages—from babies to graduating high school seniors.
When do you recommend scheduling school photos?
While Photo Day is typically held in the early fall, every school has its own schedule, and I'm happy to accommodate what works best for yours. Many schools also invite me back in the spring to photograph new students or offer updated portraits for everyone.
Is there a cost to our school?
Absolutely not! There is never a cost to your school.

In fact, I look for ways to give back to the schools I serve. Depending on your school's needs, I may provide complimentary employee headshots, documentary-style marketing photos, or class photo collages as a thank-you for partnering with me.
Our staff is already stretched thin. How much work will Photo Day add to our plates?
I have experience with schools of all shapes and sizes, and I have tremendous appreciation for the teachers and staff who keep them running. That's why I've designed my Photo Day process to be as simple and stress-free as possible.

From planning and organization to Photo Day itself, I'll handle the details so your team can stay focused on what matters most—your students.

This includes ready-to-send communications for your school families, and all photo orders are delivered digitally or shipped directly to each family's home, minimizing administrative work for your staff.
Are the photos expensive?
I offer flexible pricing to fit the needs of your school and your families. À la carte prints start at $15, and downloadable digital images start at $35.

If you'd like more information about package options and pricing, I'd be happy to send over my full pricing guide.
Will the photos be taken indoors or outdoors?
We can do either! Each option has its own advantages.

Outdoor photos are typically a favorite with parents because they offer beautiful natural backgrounds. However, they do depend on good weather and access to a suitable outdoor location.

Indoor photos are easy to schedule year-round, making them a great choice for schools that prefer a winter Photo Day or want to avoid the possibility of weather-related rescheduling.
