Jason and I had the opportunity to spend ten glorious days in the Scottish Highlands in April 2024, so I am here to share some of my favorite photos. The photos below were taken in/around the locations below and everywhere in between:
• Inverness and surrounding areas
• Glencoe and Fort William
• The Isle of Mull
• Mallaig and Morar
• The Isle of Skye
As history lovers, we focused many of our stops on historical locations, including Culloden Moor, the Clava Cairns, Bronze Age stone circles, and numerous castles. As nature lovers, we also visited some of the most beautiful landscapes on earth. We hiked until my feet bled, but every step was worth it. Jason and I both felt at home in the Scottish Highlands, and I am actually headed back in July 2025 with my mom – we will spend a weekend taking a landscape photography workshop with a local photographer. Then, we will explore more of the Highlands. I. Can't. Wait.
*I have to preface the photos by saying that this blog absolutely destroys photo quality. Apologies if these photos look grainy or soft – they are crisp and clear in the full versions!
