Whew. This blog has been neglected for far too long, but life got busy. Mostly good busy, but crazy, nonetheless. Some of you know what's been going on, but I feel like I have been somewhat elusive publicly this year, so I will share some brief life updates.
Jason and I spent a magical 10 days exploring the Scottish Highlands for our 14th anniversary in April. I will share some photos in a future post because there are soooo many! I have already booked a trip back for a photography workshop in 2025, and I'm counting down the days!
I went back to school full-time in June. I am finishing my History + Professional Writing & Rhetoric degree that has been 23 years in the making, and I can't wait to graduate next fall. If nothing else, it has been interesting being back in school while having school-aged children of my own. We all do homework together!
To answer the most common question that I've heard this year: I have ZERO plans to stop photography. I am admittedly looking forward to some downtime this winter, but I also can't wait to get back to doing more photography again! Despite all of the other things going on in my life, photography and my clients have my heart. If you missed out on a fall mini-session or anything else this year due to my limited availability, I apologize! I plan to have more availability in 2025. Fingers crossed!
If this year taught me anything, it is that:
• I adore my clients
• Photography is here to stay :)
To everyone who supported me this year: THANK YOU!
The biggest thanks (as usual) go to my rockstar husband Jason and our awesome kiddos.
I also want to say how grateful I am to each and every person who hired me for photos this year. Your support of my business means the world, and I wouldn't be here without you all! I had an exceptional group of clients this year, and I hope to see all of you again in 2025. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Cheers to 2025!
