I am a month late with my yearly blog post, but better late than never, right?
I had surgery (a surprise appendectomy) at the end of December, so I've been laying low for the past few weeks. Everything went well, and I entered 2024 feeling grateful. I also learned to listen to my body much earlier – my appendicitis was chronic, and the pain was intermittent over the past 5 years. If you're ever dealing with something similar, please listen to your body and see a doctor. ❤️
I will be back to business-as-usual beginning in early February, and I can't wait to get back to photography and working with my incredible clients!
At the end of the day, 2023 was filled with incredible clients. Beautiful photos. Lots of laughs. What more could I ask for?
This wouldn't be one of my year-end posts without the obligatory THANK YOUS to Jason and my kids for being THE most incredible people I know. And to my clients, without whom I wouldn't still be here chasing this dream-of-a-business. I am so grateful for each of you!
