It is rare that I get to photograph a family so close to home in Kiowa (other than when I do photo sessions *at* my home) so this was a treat for me! The cherry on top is that the Martell family lives on one of the original Kiowa homesteads on Comanche Creek, so their property is full of so much beauty and history! Their beautiful winding, dirt drive lead me over the creek and up to their gorgeous farmhouse. From the front porch, I could see at least a dozen gorgeous backdrops for photos, so I was thrilled to get started!
We started off with a few extended family photos in front of one of the original cabins, and then moved on to some immediate family photos with Julie, John, and their three awesome kids down by the creek. We had a stunningly beautiful golden hour, and I am so in love with the photos that we created together!
Martell family: thank you so much for having me out to your gorgeous property, and for trusting me to photograph your amazing family! I hope that you love these photos as much as I do!
