Let's talk about a family who values photography, because this one sure does! I photographed Alex and Evan's immediate family for the first time last summer, followed by an extended family photo session with Evan's parents and sister last fall. This year I was excited to meet the extended family on Alex's side. They chose my favorite location in Castle Rock (a location gem if ever there was one – it's beautiful in every month of the year, plus it has great light in the morning and in the evening which is a huge bonus!)
This family arrived looking incredible and ready to have some fun. I was a little nervous about capturing the large group photos because it's no small task to pose big groups (especially when young children and dogs are involved!) but these folks were a breeze. Take a look at photo number 1 below, because it's what I call a "unicorn" photo – everyone looking amazing + smiling + eyes on the camera and no head swaps (photoshop work) involved. Hallelujah!
Scroll on down for my favorites from this vibrant and love-filled extended family photo session. Wood/Meyer families: thank you SO much for a beautiful morning together, and I can't wait to see you all again soon!
xoxo,
Laura
