Oh how I adore this family! Jeff and Dawn make raising a large family look effortless, and as a mom to four kids myself, I know that is far from the truth. This was my second time photographing this gorgeous family, and with their oldest son now living out of state, it was a different (but beautiful) dynamic for this photo session. I spoke with Dawn about the struggle of family photos as kids grow and leave home, and I was touched by her desire to continue documenting her family through the changes. 💛

They chose to come to my home in Kiowa, Colorado for some farm family photos, and we had a beautiful evening full of breathtaking golden light. We laughed hard, had some fun, and took some stunning photos, and I am once again so incredibly grateful for the blessings of this job.
