Prepare yourselves for some CUTENESS today! Little Oren just turned one, and his family celebrated with some updated family/first birthday photos! I met Shannon and Jon last year during their winter maternity session, and then I photographed Oren's newborn session just hours before the COVID shutdown began in March of 2020. I was so happy to see this awesome family again, and with the world feeling a little bit more normal again. 💙

As we all know – Colorado weather is crazy – and March is super unpredictable, so I recommended a forested location because it looks great with or without snow. We lucked out with warm(ish) weather and a GORGEOUS golden hour-filled evening, and I'm completely in love with these photos. 

We started with some fun family photos (baby throwing ✔️, baby swinging ✔️, hugs ✔️, airplane pose ✔️) and ended with Oren dressed in his Where the Wild Things Are outfit eating dirt. It was all magic, and I loved every second with these fine folks.
