I absolutely love snowy winter photo sessions! I met the Singharaj family at Evans Park in Elizabeth, Colorado on a chilly, winter afternoon in December. It wasn't actually chilly - it was downright freezing, but despite the cold we had a great time together!
I have photographed Chris, Diana, and their girls twice before, but this time we included Diana's sister Gloria and her family, as well as their parents. Diana and Gloria wanted to get their whole family together for a session to gift to their parents. I realize that my opinion regarding photography is almost always biased, but I think that family photos are one of the BEST gifts EVER!
Diana told me that their hope was that we would be able to achieve cozy, snowy, photos together, and I absolutely loved the idea! The problem? We hadn't had a decent snow in Colorado in WEEKS and snow was hard to come by. I finally found this large area of untouched snow in a shaded area at Evans park and knew that it would do the trick! After our photo session I added in a little bit of photoshop magic (falling snow) and we had that cozy, snowy look that we had set out to achieve.
Singharaj family: I can't thank you enough for trusting me to photograph your extended family session! I loved our time together and I hope to do it again in the future!! ❤️
