I always love my time photographing the Free family! I met them last year when they first moved to Kiowa, and I have been honored to photograph them on their gorgeous property two more times since then. This year was extra-great for a couple of reasons: 1.) Jessie's mom and grandma were in town for Christmas, so we got to include them in some photos, and you all know how much I LOVE extended family photos! 2.) Bob had his antique truck set up for us to use as a backdrop for some photos! The truck has sentimental value to his family, so in addition to being a fantastic backdrop it was also meaningful. ❤️
I am thrilled with these photos, especially considering that it was the week of Christmas and it was freezing cold!! We also had some epic golden light sneak in for a few minutes! I'm not sure why, but I also loved the black and white conversions on many of these photos better than the color versions! That almost NEVER happens for me (I honestly can't remember the last time I even blogged a black and white photo here? This may be the first time.) I'm including both versions for some of these photos and you can decide for yourselves!
Bob, Jessie, and family: thank you so much for your continued support! I have loved getting to know you all over the past year, and I can't wait to do it again in 2020! ☺️
