2019 In Review // Kiowa Colorado Family Photographer

January 01, 2020  •  Leave a Comment

This post is my favorite each year because it gives me a chance to reflect on all of my work over the past 12 months. This little business of mine allowed me to meet and re-connect with a bunch of incredible people in 2019, and I am so so thankful for each and every one of you! Before I move on to the photos, I want to share something with you...

I worked with several people this year who were going through some huge personal struggles behind the scenes, and I want you to know that even if we aren't actively in touch I am here rooting for you and praying for you. No matter what you hire me for: family photos, newborn photos, senior photos, a mini-session, or anything else - I want the best for you!

One of my favorite parts of social media is being able to watch as my LSP clients grow and thrive, and to also be able to pray behind the scenes when things are not going as well. This business has given me a unique opportunity to meet and connect with a huge array of people who I probably wouldn't meet otherwise, and I am so incredibly thankful for that gift. I also don't take it for granted when people confide in me during our time together and I don't take the responsibility lightly.

When I get emails from past clients who haven't seen me for a while, they almost always start by re-introducing themselves. I just want to say that you never need to do that with me, because if I have photographed you ever, I remember you. It doesn't matter if it was in 2011, last month, or each and every year, I remember you.

I will close by saying a resounding THANK YOU to you all - my clients, friends, family, followers, and anyone else that I have forgotten to mention here. Thank you for another incredible year of memory making, and I hope to see you all in 2020!

xoxo,

~Laura

Now on to the photos! I have chosen a few of my favorite photos from each of my 2019 photo sessions (minus a handful that cannot be shared online.)
