Old Littleton is one of my FAVORITE locations for mini-sessions! With the mature trees, interesting architecture, and small town feel, it really is a perfect Colorado photo location. For the past couple of years, I have hosted my spring mini-sessions here because the crabapple trail is one of the best places for spring colors! This year, I decided to add in an evening of fall mini-sessions also, and Littleton's charm didn't disappoint!
This year was so weird when it came to fall colors. Colorado was several weeks later than usual when it came to the leaves changing, and then as soon as we got close to peak colors in town, we had the massive freeze that turned everything from yellows and golds to dead brown. This was especially concerning to me because I chose a rose garden for my mini-session location, but thankfully we had incredible weather, a beautiful golden hour, and AMAZING families like this one, and those three things can make up for just about any location short comings. (And for the record, even with dead roses and brown leaves, this was a STUNNING location for fall photos!)
My first family of the evening was David, Taylor, and their ADORABLE kiddos! I first met them last fall during my Parker mini-sessions, and I immediately loved them. They are some of the kindest, most incredible humans that you'll ever meet, and I was so thankful to work with them again this year! I was also thrilled to find out that they are expecting baby number 3 in 2020 and I CANNOT wait to meet her! Based on Cohen and Nora, I'm guessing that she will be BEYOND CUTE!!
Norris family: thank you for trusting me to photograph your family again this year! I adore you all, and I can't wait to meet your newest addition next year!! :-)
