When my friend Brittany contacted me to see if I would be interested in photographing her daughter Penelope with her cousins Declan and Colbie as a gift for their grandparents I was thrilled! I have worked with Brittany a few times before: once for her engagement session with her (now) husband Trevor, as well as several styled wedding photoshoots where she was the planner. (Side note: Brittany is a crazy-talented wedding/event planner and florist and owner of Privé Events, so if you ever need either of those services you definitely need to check her work out! See her website here.)
This session made all of my snowy session dreams come true, and these kids were troopers despite the freezing cold temperatures! Our main objective was to get adorable photos of the children (which I think we did!) but we also took some time to update family photos! We started with Mike, Jennifer, Declan, and Colbie all snuggled up in the snow! Could this brother-sister duo be any cuter!?
Next up was Trevor, Brittany and baby Penelope and I don't think I have EVER seen a happier baby considering that we were taking photos in the snow!
When it was time to put the 3 kids together for photos, they were cold and probably ready to go home and get warm, but they rallied and did a fantastic job! Declan was so sweet and protective of the two girls, and the three of them together were completely adorable!
Tolibas Family: Thank you for allowing me to help you with your Christmas photo gifts! I loved every second of our freezing cold session! :-)
