Fall family sessions are one of my favorite things to photograph! Not only because of the gorgeous Colorado colors, but because it gives me a chance to re-connect with longtime clients and friends and also meet new ones! Ryan, Lindsay, and Blake fall into the category of longtime clients and friends because not only did I photograph their maternity and newborn sessions back in 2012, but I have known Lindsay since we were in third grade.

It was such a treat to update their family photos and get to know Blake, since the last time I saw him he was only a few days old! I was so impressed by this little man - he was adorably sweet and polite and so much fun to hang out with during our session! Truthfully, our time together felt more like a playdate than work! We ran, played, and laughed, and in between I took a few photos. ;-) 

As we were getting ready to leave, Lindsay told me that she and Ryan hadn't had any couple's photos taken since their wedding and asked me if I would take a few photos of them together and my answer was an enthusiastic "YES!!" I may not be a wedding photographer anymore, but I still love photographing couples and I am absolutely thrilled with the photos that we took together!
